Is it possible to win the war in Iraq on the ground? I don't think so. U.S. Soldiers kill civilians, and yet the real suicide bombers succeed.

In other news, we have convicted a terrorist.

Great. Does this mean we can set free the detainees against whom no charges have been brought, now? What about the innocent ones?

We cannot win this war in anything like the way we are going about it. We might be able to win it if we follow Jesus' advice, but with the Neocons running the show, that isn't an option.
